TEST RESULTS

The HEADS-UP STABILIZER was tested at Wayne State University's Biomedical Engineering facility and performed by the same Doctor who originally tested and helped develop the HANS DEVICE for Auto Racing (the HANS DEVICE is the standard for head and neck protection).

SCIENTIFIC STUDIES PROVE
The HEADS-UP STABILIZER REDUCES the ability to DROP and/or LOWER the HEAD by
66%
which is the primary cause of head, neck and spinal cord injuries.
graph
The table indicates, in four different impact studies, that wearing the HEADS-UP STABILIZER
REDUCES
the ability of forward head movement.

The data from the testing indicates that the HEADS-UP STABILIZER showed:
  • Consistent reduction in the head displacement relative to the chest.
  • Reduction of neck shear force.
  • Reduction of head rotations.
  • Reduces Whiplash

HEAD FLEXION
:
The movement of the head forwards with the chin moving towards the chest.

"The Stabilizer does restrain the head from flexion."

"The Stabilizer does the same thing that the HANS DEVICE does but for your sports."
Dr. Paul Begeman, Wayne State University

The above pictures, to the left and right of the HEADS-UP STABILIZER picture, are of current products on the market today, that make the claims that their products can protect against compression and axial loading injuries.

The HEADS-UP STABILIZER does not claim it can prevent injury simply that maintaining
the correct HEADS UP position will reduce the possibility of injury.
